Alan’s Presentation in Las Vegas on May 2, 2014

On Friday, May 2, 2014, I had the privilege of speaking on behalf of the American Bar Association at their 2014 Solo, Small Firm and General Practice Division Spring Meeting at the Aria Hotel in Las Vegas. I spoke on essential technology for the law firm. For years, I have felt that knowing how to use one’s law office technology is an essential part of a law practice. A lawyer’s misuse of technology, or not even knowing how to use their existing technology, negatively affects their practice. While some lawyers believe it’s best to always have the newest products, I subscribe to the theory that it is better to maximize the use of one’s existing technology to make their practice more efficient and profitable.
